Singing Practice Shallow
I was recently invited to sing two songs at a show in late March. One of them is to be the duet, Shallow, from A Star is Born. I get to choose the other.
I recorded this to send to the woman who will sing the other part since she's never heard me sing it before.
For those of you interested in hearing if I'm improving or not, I'll place here an mp3 version recorded two months ago in December, 2019.

What singing Techniques I'm Practicing
This week I'm working hard to articulate clearly without forcing the sound back down into the mouth and throat.
This requires a lot of attention to breathing and keeping the lower throat open.
When I do it correctly my pitch accuracy improves.
Even though the 2nd and 3rd notes are an E4, for some reason they are difficult. They sit right in the small passage zone of the tenor voice and you can't quite speak them without putting a little "call" into it.
